I just love my two little grandsons. When they are so far away it can be hard to know what to do. We mailed a package of clothes, oh so cute. Especially the cool sunglasses. I hope that Mr. Hands will not break his pair. Steve got the cutest cards and I suggested that we should scan them so we have a copy of what we sent. I would really like to be able to "document" things for the boys, things that we can remember and talk about as they get older. So, keeping a record of cards was just an idea.
Their mama has an Amazon wish list, so I found a couple of items there to have shipped to them. We have the Amazon Prime shipping, so we don't have that charge. When I figure out posting links, I'll see if I can't show you what I sent.
I didn't get the links totally figured out, but suffice it to say that I know the two little guys will enjoy their gifts and my Amazon says that they are in the mail now. Enough for now.

Post Two
I am still walking about in somewhat of a daze with this new forum of expression. I continue to feel a bit awkward and fumbling, but I am hoping that with practice and perseverance it will become a bit easier and more comfortable.
I have always enjoyed reading other people's blogs, especially the ones of those that knit and crochet and share their expertise and patterns with others. I have saved so many patterns that look interesting and don't have any idea when I will ever find the time to make these beautiful pieces. But I will continue to hope and maybe one day I might get to the point that I might feel confident enough to offer my own two cents in this area.
Steve (my husband), got another box packed to send to the two grandsons. We bought them a bunch of clothes on sale at the Carter's outlet store. Kids can always use something new to wear. We have to stick to shorts since they are in a year-round warm climate. That can make shopping difficult. Steve sealed the package before I could let him know that we had not gotten any Valentine goodies in the box, so I guess I will get some together and maybe send it in on of those padded mailers or something.
Well, I guess I will end this post and see what is going on in the world for today.

First Posting
I am unsure of blogging, but am willing to give it a try. I do not know if I have anything worthwhile to share with others, but perhaps it will be something that is perhaps more worthwhile to me in the long run. Here's to blogging.
